The Ikarus Theater Collaborative is a theater company focused on creating theatrical experiences deeply rooted in the Truth. Capital T. Truths that are relevant to the Filipino experience. Truths that are sometimes difficult to talk about. Like its namesake, the company is forever flying towards its goal, no matter the cost. Since 2013, the Ikarus Theater Collaborative has been operating out of its home, DITO: Bahay ng Sining. We welcome you to the future of Ikarus.

What if Ikarus never fell, but instead kept flying off to the sky, off to have new adventures in distant lands, to explore the most interesting worlds, to hear the most beautiful stories?
To live as Ikarus would have lived is the mission of the Ikarus Theater Collaborative: to take on those adventures, to inhabit those worlds, and to tell those stories. Through the magic of the stage, our theater company in Marikina has woven fantastic tales of wonder, exploring themes as varied as beauty, regret, happiness, friendship, and yes, love. We tell stories because they deserve to be heard.
LEARN WITH US
Ikarus offers workshops for groups, and one-on-one training for various theater skills. This is open to professionals, beginners, creative and corporate teams alike.
